Radio frequency module for the wireless data communication in ATEX 2 and 22 zones, with protection methods according to: 

ATEX II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 Gc X for gases 
ATEX II 3D Ex tc IIIC T125°C Dc IP66 X for dust. 
It can be applied to both bench/floor scales as weel as mobile scales, such as pallet truck scales or pallet weighing scales, and it allows to transmit data at a very long distance.

 Technical features
  • IP66 ABS case.
  • Dimensions case (lxwxh): 120x80x55mm.
  • Fitted with 3m shielded cable, for connection to the indicator.
  • Power supply directly from the indicator.
 Operating features
  • Work frequency from 868 to 870 MHz, which reduces the risk of interferences with the classic radio frequency systems.
  • Up to 50 different channels, easily programmable with the programme on PC, in order to install various independent systems in the same work area.
  • Max. functioning distance, in appropriate environmental and installation conditions: up to 70m indoors, and up to 150m outdoors.
  • Does not require particular communication protocols, trasmission in transparent manner of any character received in input.

Installation examplesPallet truck scale in Ex 2 or 22 area with manual transmission of the weight through OBRF3GD radio module to WeiMonitor PC software, in safe area. 

Weighing platform in Ex 2 or 22 areas connected to an ATEX weight indicator with transmission of the weight through OBRF3GD radio modules to repeaters at a distance, inside the same ATEX area.
